The Theme Pavilion is the primary exhibition hall where the theme of the 2006 World Ginseng Expo, "Gingseng, the Root of Life", is showcased. Here, one can experience the ginseng tunnel, which informs and stimulates the five senses. The perfection and visions of ginseng, a visual message presented by the Korean Ginseng can be viewed through the state-of-the-art visual medium.

International Pavilion
The International pavilion facilitates various exchanges of ginseng products as well as information between Korean and companies around the globe, exchanges of new technology, and attracting Korean as well as global buyers to the ginseng trade.

Ginseng Exhibition Hall of Geumsan
The Ginseng Exhibition Hall of Geumsan presents information on the current status of ginseng cultivation in Geumsan, the center of ginseng cultivation/distribution in Korea, the major efficacy of Geumsan ginseng, the status and size of the Ginseng & Medicinal Herb Market of Geumsan as well as the future vision of Geumsan ginseng.

Center for Ginseng Distribution
The Center for Ginseng Distribution is the venue where counseling on exports and signing of contracts for the purchase of quality Korean ginseng products are offered. Here at the Center, ginseng products are exhibited and sold at wholesale while details on the research and development of new ginseng products will also be presented.

The Ginseng & Medicinal Herb Market of Geumsan, one of the three largest medicinal markets in Korea, is the center of ginseng distribution where 80% of the ginseng produced in Korea are traded. It is the world's largest ginseng & medicinal herb market housing over 1,200 ginseng and medicinal herb shops.
The visitors to the 2006 World Ginseng Expo, Geumsan, will enjoy the unique experience by the market that entices the customers with delicate aromas and excellent medicinal herbs. It is a place with an exotic environment quite diverse from the main Expo area.

International Ginseng Symposium
World-renowned scholars who verify the wonders of the Korean Ginseng gather at the World Ginseng Expo, Geumsan, the premier location of ginseng cultivation that is taking a giant leap forward as the global center of ginseng.

 

Lee Bo-sik, chairman of The World Ginseng Expo Organizing Committee, commented, “The World Ginseng Expo will be a chance to advertise the benefits of Korean ginseng.
