▲ The meeting held on the 5th at Chungcheongnam-do Techno Park to organize a Chungcheongnam-do Foreign Investors Consultative Meeting.

The Chungcheongnam-do Foreign Investors Consultative Meeting, a consultative body for foreign companies doing business in Chungcheongnam-do, held a launching ceremony on October 5 with representatives from foreign investment companies in attendance and started its business.
Organized to promote interchanges between foreign investment companies and their symbiotic growth, the Consultative Meeting consists of 50 companies that have signed MOUs with Chungcheongnam-do these 5 years or which expressed an intention to sign one. The Consultative Meeting will work to: revitalize information sharing and interchanges between member companies; resolve difficulties; build DB and conduct investigations and research to improve corporate environments; seek joint progress such as pioneering a new market, and; provide information on living, etc.
The province authorities announced on that day its policy of accommodating foreign investment companies encompassing 6 fields and 17 tasks. The main content of this accommodation policy includes improving the living conditions for companies and their workers. The policy is as follows.

▲ Establishing foreign schools and attracting educational institutions in the northern region ▲ Designating and expanding medical centers dedicated to foreign civilians ▲ Introducing the system of real estate investors’ immigration for easy entry / exit of foreign investors ▲ Familiarization tours to provide the right information on Chungcheongnam-do and publishing information booklets on living and culture ▲ Inducing foreign business occupants in Cheonan 5 Industrial Complex and Boryeong Gwanchang Industrial Complex ▲ Expanding the designation of foreign investment areas ▲ Providing various types of information on industrial locations through the homepage of the Chungcheongnam-do government ▲ Attracting strategic investments factoring in the level of contribution to regional development ▲ Providing a meeting venue for foreign investment companies through Chungcheongnam-do Tech Biz Zone ▲ Providing consulting services courtesy of the Organization for Cooperation for Investment Attraction and sharing information on attracting investment ▲ Visiting foreign investment companies and publicizing the details of their level of social contribution ▲ Operating employment programs for major universities and foreign investment companies ▲ Listening to the on-site difficulties of foreign business occupants and building a DB of the details discussed ▲ Operating total consulting services for matters regarding tax, labor, law, etc.
