Foreign students in Korea advertise Chungnam as investment destination

＆Invest Korea Supporters,＊ an investment attraction group of the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA), composed of foreign students in Korea, visited Chungnam Province from September 5 to 6 in order to promote the excellent investment environment of the province.
24 members of the supporters group from 14 different countries had a tour to foreign businesses in Cheonan and local resources of tourism and culture for two days.
They toured Umicore, a manufacturer of secondary cell material, which is expanding its investment in Chungnam Province despite the economic downturn. After then, they visited cultural heritages such as the Gongsan Fortress, Royal Tomb of King Muryeong, Buso Mountain Fortress and Baekje Cultural Complex.
The supporters will post their reviews of the tour on social networking sites including the Facebook account of Invest Korea to advertise the great investment environment Chungnam provides around the world. It is expected that this will also contribute to heightening Chungnam＊s global standing as an investment destination.
