KBS Open Concert Celebrate the relocation of the provincial government complex

Chungnam residents got together in an entertainment event in the Naepo New City, home to the new provincial government complex.
The Chungnam provincial government hosted KBS Open Concert (to be aired at 5:40pm, Sunday, May 19 on KBS 1 channel) at 7pm on May 7. Jointly hosted by Chungnam Province, Hongseong and Yesan County, and organized by Korea Broadcasting System, the concert was to celebrate the relocation of the provincial government complex, in the presence of some 10,000 local residents.
The event started with a pre-ceremony, followed by the concert moderated by newscaster Hwang, Su-gyeong, featuring dynamic performances by a number of popular artists including Shinee, Insuni, JK Kim Dong-wook, So Chan-hwi, Park Gang-seong, So Hyang, Park Sangcheol, Can, Dynamic Duo and Choi Hyun-su, a baritone singer.
An official from Chunngnam Province said, "The event was held to invite local citizens in the celebration of the relocation of the Chungnam government complex to the Naepo New City, which will position our province as the leader in the 21st century Pan-Yellow Sea Region."
