If you give birth to your child in Korea, the child can stay in Korea for up to 30days without having to go through any Immigration procedures.
However, if the child is to stay longer than 30 days, the parents are required to report the birth to a local or district Immigration office within 30 days from the date of birth of the child to have their child granted the status of stay.
¡Ø Parents not reporting the birth within the period is subject to Immigration punishment
To report, the parents should make an application to a local or district Immigration office having jurisdiction over the place of their stay

A travel document ex) passport
Application first, later submission of a travel document is acceptable
