Hansan Sogokju (Rice Wine)
Hansan Sogokju, the best of the best, was very popular early in the imperial period of the Baekje Kingdom. It is a uniquely flavored wine brewed by fermenting grains for about 100 days, also called as "Anjeunbaengi-Sul (forcing-to-sit Wine)." The very special brewing method was designated as a Local Intangible Cultural Property in 1990. Now, U Huiyeol, the successor and current brewer, is producing the Hansan Sogokju in the Hall of Hansan Mosi (Ramie).
