Northern Area: it will be developed as a cutting-edge industrial area supporting the Capital area.
Western coastal area: it will be cultivated as a mecca for ocean recreation and tourism as well as a frontline of trade with China.
Baekje area: it will be fostered as a merging point of education, culture and tourism.
Geumgang River area: it will be developed as a center of water control, logistics and distribution as well as a center for agricultural specialties.
Establishment of 6 Areas and Development of 30 Tourist Attractions To be competitive in the international tourism industry, Chungnam is striving to create a high-quality tourism environment.
