• Characterized Development of Four Large Areas The strategic development of four large areas based on the characteristics (industry, tourism and culture) of each area will maximize the development potential of the province,

• Western coastal area: it will be cultivated as a mecca for ocean recreation and tourism as well as a frontline of trade with China.

• Geumgang River area: it will be developed as a center of water control, logistics and distribution as well as a center for agricultural specialties.
• Establishment of 6 Areas and Development of 30 Tourist Attractions To be competitive in the international tourism industry, Chungnam is striving to create a high-quality tourism environment. By highlighting natural and cultural assets, such as extensive beaches, clean environments, and the glorious cultural heritage of the Baekje Kingdom, Chungnam will be viewed as harmonizing with nature, culture and ecology.
